On November 17th, 2018 The Global Switchboard is hosting our annual Hub + Spoke event. This event will give us the opportunity to share and celebrate the work of The Global Switchboard, and our membership network, with the community. With a focus on impact stories, we’ll hear first hand accounts from local residents on the personal impact of our region’s engagement with the wider world. We’ll consider the evidence from organizations who actively impact our region’s global engagement challenges. And we’ll appeal to our attendees to join a collective effort to improve the conditions for our local community to do even better.
This event also serves as The Global Switchboard’s primary fundraising event for the year. Proceeds from direct donations, ticket sales, and sponsorships play an important role in supporting the ongoing efforts of The Global Switchboard to continue to facilitate connections and achieve a high standard of global engagement in the Pittsburgh region. Our efforts would go even further with you as an official sponsor.
