Two Switchboard members, Amizade and ARYSE, participated in Social Venture Partners’ Full Circle Program, an intensive three and a half month project that helps nonprofit organizations tackle issues like long-term funding, networking, and advertising. Full Circle mentors are paired with organizations based on organization needs.
Amizade used the SVP program to focus on developing a sustainable funding model for their Hill District programming.
ARYSE used the SVP program to develop a sustainability plan for growing its programs to better support immigrant and refugee youth in Pittsburgh
On June 21, 2017 participants concluded their time in the program with a pitch competition focusing on the projects that they worked on during their time in the program. The audience voted and chose ARYSE as a winner, giving them $2,500 which will go toward this summer’s PRYSE Academy. Congratulations ARYSE!
