Operations Manager of The Global Switchboard
How did I get here?
I received my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh in Economics. I got involved with Global Solutions Pittsburgh as a Public Programming intern in 2012, and continued with them after graduation as Education Coordinator. Following the GSP transition into The Global Switchboard, I became the Operations Manager, where I enjoy the diversity and reach of my role. I am a currently a student at Pitt’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs pursuing an MPA in Public and Nonprofit Management.
Why am I at the Switchboard?
In high school I had the opportunity to travel around the world with different groups. I also studied abroad during my time as an undergraduate at the University of Pittsburgh. Traveling had a strong impact on my worldview, and my experiences broadened my horizons unlike anything I had learned inside of the classroom. Recognizing the privilege that comes with being able to travel abroad, I grew interested in internationally focused education programming. My work at Global Solutions Pittsburgh (GSP) allowed me to work on bringing these experiences into the classroom in nontraditional educational environments.
